What does Route Shipping Insurance cover?
If your package arrives damaged, gets lost or stolen Route will replace your package at no cost to you within 1-4 business days.
How do I file a claim?
Once you have placed your order you will receive an email from Route Shipping. In the event that your order arrives damaged, gets lost in transit or stolen from your porch. Open that email and fill out their simple claim form.
Note: This works best if you checkout using your email address. If you did not check out with an email address your can also file a claim at claims.route.com and their customer support team will reach out to you.
How Long do I have to file a claim?
You have 30 days from the day you placed your order to file a claim.
How do I get Route Shipping Insurance on my order?
Route Shipping Insurance is automatically applied to your order. If you do not wish to purchase shipping protection simply deselect it in your shopping cart.
Can I purchase Route Shipping Insurance after I place my order?
No, Shipping Insurance can only be purchased during checkout and can only be applied for the order it was purchased on.
