The Blue Planet Eyewear brand evolved from the family-owned Blue Gem Sunglasses label – a thriving leader in the wholesale eyewear industry founded over 35 years ago. At Blue Planet Eyewear we offer a diverse and colorful collection of original sunglasses and eyeglasses online and via our retail partners.

Our distinctive range of reading eyeglasses and sunglasses take their inspiration from Santa Barbara’s iconic surf culture. Here at Blue Planet Eyewear we are passionate about doing our bit for the planet, and that’s why every pair of sunglasses and eyeglasses online in our store is carefully designed and built with recycled plastics and reclaimed metals as well as all-natural materials such as wood and bamboo.
